Chiropractic Treatment

Chiropractic treatment

Chiropractic is a regulated primary healthcare profession concerned with the treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders. Chiropractors are trained to diagnose, treat, manage and prevent disorders of the musculoskeletal system as well as the effects of these disorders can have on the nervous system and general health.

When consulting with you, I will take your entire physical, emotional and social wellbeing into account.

As well as chiropractic treatment, I am able to offer care which includes advice on self-help, theraputic exercises and changes to your lifestyle.

Chiropractic treatment often involves manipulation of the spine and joints. The treatment is usually painless, unless there is swelling or inflamation in an area. In such cases, a Chiropractor may alter or modify the treatment.

In the UK it is illegal for anyone to call themselves a Chiropractor, or imply they are, unless they are registered with the General Chiropractic Council.
